I am looking for information about my Wright family from Greene Co. William Wright b 1846 Rockingham County Virginia, d 1909 in Greene County. His first wife's name was Sarah Margaret (aka Margaret)b Jan 15 1849, where? d August 11, 1890. Just before she died she sold some land that was givento her by her g-grandfather, Richard White. William and Margaret (Sarah Margaret) children were: James W Wright, Gertrude Wright, John R Wright, William S Wright and Maggie Wright Herndon. Darby came from Ireland before 1756 and made an Oath in Orange Co. court to entitle him the right to take up land and assigned this over to Honorias Powell. Searching for the parents of James EARLY WHITE, b. 18 May 1804, Albemarle Co. VA. Marr. 8 March 1834, in Albemarle Co. to Matilda E. ROSENBARGER. They are listed on the 1850 Census of Greene County with their children: Mary b. 1835, Benjamin b. 1836, William b. 1837, James (jr) b. 1837, Matilda b. 1841, Wesley b. 1842, Jackson (Jack) b. 1844, and Cynthia b. 1845. In Deed Bk. 4, page 124, dated 17 April 1851, Greene Co., James E. for the sum of $150 gives up his interest in the estate of James White, dec'd, to Anderson White (a brother?). Is the James WHITE, dec'd, his father? Is his mother Susannah???. Is James' middle name EARLY? and is it a family name? James E. along with his wife and children migrated to Linn Co., MO where they and many of their children are buried.
