Welcome!
Well, you're reading this which means you have found our new location! I want to let you all know it really has been an honor to be maintaining this website for the last 2 years -- but I also do feel how sad it is for how little I have been able to make this website grow in the meantime. It is my goal to add two new things to the website every week as a minimum from here on out -- and some weeks maybe a lot more.
I am not local to King George County. I do have ancestral ties to the area and am very interested in digitally preserving the history of the county with this website and you will see how my efforts grow with that. That being said, I cannot generally go and do lookups for you. Elizabeth Lee and other individuals on the VAKINGGE mailing list (linked in the sidebar to the left) have been very helpful for all the queries that I have seen hit the list.
That being said that I am not local, I am always hoping for new information. If you have just one photo or one item, it is still wanted. Large collections are also nice. Just please be mindful of copyright law. Please email any items you may wish to share to me at EmbryProject@gmail.com . Also, if you would just like to know when new submissions have been added, please take the time to add your email via the form below, and then I will send you email notifications of updates to the website.
