Pearl Martin Frey
 

Pearl Martin Frey, 73, of King George County died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2001
at Mary Washington Hospital.
 

Born in Kentucky, Mrs. Frey moved to Richmond in her youth. She retired
from Thalheimer's department store where she was a graphic artist.
 

She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars auxiliary in King George
and A member of the Mighty Eight Air Force Heritage Museum. She was the
widow of Howard F. Martin Jr..
 

Survivors include her husband, Alan E. Frey; a daughter, Sandra Martin
Higgins of Sandston; two sons, Wayne Martin of Sandston and Howard "Sonny"
Martin of Highland Springs; six step daughters, Jean Moneyham of King George,
Marilyn Eichelberger of Dahlgren, Ann Stachurm of Longwood, Fla., Karen Berks
of Devon, Pa., Cynthia Frey of Christiansburg and Barbara Lathrop of King William;
two brothers, Robert Culbertson of Highland Springs and Jack Culbertson of
Richmond; five grandchildren; 14 step grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
 

A funeral will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Nash & Slaw Funeral Home in
King George. Burial will follow in Historyland Memorial Park.
 

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
 

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations
to the Dahlgren Rescue Squad, Box 1375, Dahlgren, Va 23448.
