 Mrs. Edith C. Woodhouse, 70, of Colonial Beach, died Monday, January 2, 1984 at a Fredericksburg Nursing Home.
 She was the widow of Arnold J. Woodhouse.  Survivors include a daughter, Mary Jean Inscoe, of King George; a son, George B. Woodhouse, of Chesterfield, Va.; a sister, Mrs. Maude Allensworth, Rollins Fork, a brother, George B. Costenbader of Fair Oaks, Cal.; four grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
 Mrs. Woodhouse was a member of the Colonial Beach Baptist Church, a member and a past matron of the Wakefield Chapter No. 77 Order of the Eastern Star of Colonial Beach.
 Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 6 at 2 p.m. at the Colonial Beach Baptist Church, with interment to follow in Hanover Baptist Church Cemetery, King George.  Services by the Rev. Robert D. Higgins.  Family will receive friends from 7 – 8:30 p.m. at the Nash & Slaw Funeral Home, Colonial Beach, Thursday, and an Eastern Star service will be held at the funeral home during the visitation.

 Mrs. Edith C. Woodhouse, 70, of Colonial Beach, died Monday, January 2, 1984 at the Fredericksburg Nursing Home.
 She was a member of Colonial Beach Baptist Church and a member and past matron of Wakefield Chapter No. 77 Order of the Eastern Star in Colonial Beach.
 Mrs. Woodhouse was the widow of Arnold J. (Woody) Woodhouse.  She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mary Jean Inscoe of King George; one son, George Blight Woodhouse of Chesterfield; one sister, Mrs. Maude Allensworth of Rollins Fork, one brother George Blight Costenbader of Fair Oaks, California; four grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
 There was an Eastern Star service held at Nash and Slaw Funeral Home on January 5th.
 A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 6th at Colonial Beach Baptist Church, with burial in Hanover Baptist Church cemetery in King George.  The Rev. Robert D. Higgins officiated
