Mrs. Almira Lee Zepp, Managed credit union
 

Mrs. Almira Lee "Petie" Zepp, 74, of King George County died Wednesday,
Aug. 10, at her residence.
 

Born in Sykesville, MD, she had been the manger of the federal credit union at
the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, for a number of years.
Until two years ago, she worked for Dr. Roberto Caniares and also for the King
George Cable Company.
 

She was an active member of Hanover Baptist Church in King George and a
member of the King George Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
 

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, James Melvin Zepp; three daughters,
Lee Ann Hill of South Boston, Janice Katherine Crowder of Colonial Heights,
and Mary Jo Ellen Chappell of Henderson, KY; two sons, james Melvin Zepp, JR.
of Houghton, LA, and Charles Donald Zepp of Fredericksburg; a brother, Charles H.
Thomspon of Kinston, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
 

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hanover Baptist Church with the Rev.
Ernest Oxmore officiating. Burial will follow in Historyland Memorial Park in King George.
 

Pallbearers will be Ralph Hill, David Hill, Robert Crowder, James M. Zepp, III,
Edward Crowder and Kyle Hill.
 

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 Friday at Mash & Slaw Funeral Home,
King George.
 

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to
Hanover Baptist Church Building Fund, RFD 4, Box 390, King George, Va 22485
