The Friedland home off of Fletchers Chapel Road. It was built in 1720 by Alexander Hooe and was also occupied by Edwin Ruggles, Henry Chinn, & Samuel Hays. Hooe built this as a summer home. His three sons died during the Mexican War and their mother died from the shock. I am not sure if Alexander and his wife are buried here or at their Barnsfield home site.

A view of the cemetery.
